Conditionals with if

1-    Real conditional:

Talk about future possibility

If+ present simple, will + v

Ex: If it rains today, I will stay at home.

If Germany wins the Cup, I will win the bet.

If I win the lottery, I will pay my major.

2-    Present unreal conditional

Talk about present or future unreal or imagined situation or to give advice.

If+ simple past, would + v

Ex: If I won the lottery, I would travel around the world.

     

      If I were a doctor, I wouldn’t charge my patients.

3-    Past unreal conditional

Talk about unreal or imagined situations in the past

If+ past perfect, would +have + V. past. participle

Ex: If Jack had worked harder,he would have earned more money.
